This Mother Went To See Her Son’s Grave And Saw An Unexpected Visitor

The loss of a precious one is devastating. Any individual who has needed to experience this misfortune knows that it is so hard to simply hold in their feelings all through this hard time. This  pain seems multiplied for a mother who had quite recently lost her four-year old child.

But God works in mysterious ways. Just when we imagine that we are down and can't ever be happy again, God does something that focus back on Him. He could never abandon us even at our worst times, but would come to mend our hearts when they are going to break. It is God that can give us courage to battle our grief and live for one more day. Marie Robinson got the chance to encounter direct how God provide us with relief, giving us "signs" that He is omnipresent and omniscient.

As a mother, Marie had seen some of the worst times of her life. She lost her child Jack when he had brain tumor in April of 2014. As a mother, that specific day turned into a day of grief and sorrow. Consistently she would visit her child's grave on the anniversary of his death, becoming numb to all the sorrow that had cleared into her life unexpected. This specific year, Marie was overwhelmed with emotion.

She posted on Facebook saying “3 years ago today, I was totally numb at losing my little Jack. And 3 years on, I’m still numb on this day. Today will be hard. We all miss him. Early Saturday morning I got in the car and said out loud, ‘Jack, please show Mummy a sign’ and thought I’ll see him after I finished work.”

While heading off to the cemetery to visit Jack's grave, she wished  out loud to see a sign –  a sign of hope. And God gave it to her in the most spectacular way possible.

Sitting alone on the grass beside the grave, Marie was crying and shattered when she saw a red robin twittering and flying around her child's grave. While most robins and feathered creatures are generally careful about people, wanting to keep a protected separation from them, this specific red robin was very different. It was trying to find a place to sit on her, eventually landing on her shoes. As per her, the robin did not seem scared at all, in fact it was eager to make contact to her.When the robin flew over to a close-by gravestone, Marie got her telephone out and started filming the incident. That is the point at which the robin came and arrived on her hand. According to Marie, it was straightforwardly focussed on her and continued gazing at her.Finally it arrived on her shoulder, as if accepting her as a friend.

Ironicly Jack Robinson's mom had seen a robin at his grave. Marie shared her unique experience on Facebook and incalculable individuals began commenting on the post, sharing stories of how grief-stricken they were, and how they got these "signs" from God signalling the presence of their loved ones.

As a mother, Marie was extremely proud of her child, and of this sign in the form of a  robin. According to her, the robin was brave and unique, with a cheeky smile, reminiscent of her own deceased child. . And his story has led her to bring the whole world together, sharing each other’s sorrow to comfort and console each other.
