Why is former Hasht5 singer Marlou Arizala undergoing surgery?

After pictures of him in an operating room were posted,  peculations made the rounds on social media, regarding Marlou Arizala’s surgical procedure.

Star Image Artist Management shared a post of the boyband artist with markings all over. A video shows the performer saying “Excited na ako sa operasyon…wish me well”:

ICON  Clinic would be leading the surgery with plastic specialist Dr. Eric Yapjuangco behind the procedure.

Another video from the organization  asks, “Crush mo ba si Marlou aka ‘Xander Ford’?” and shows Arizala’s face transforming into Justin Bieber’s.

An unconfirmed Instagram account with the handle @iamxanderford clues at Arizala's rebranding. The same photographs and video from Star Image have been posted, and the profile description reads, "Pambansang Oppa • Star Image Artist •Marlou is Dead".

Arizala is known for being a part of adolescent boyband Hasht5 before going solo in 2016. 
The band has encountered web based tormenting due to their physical appearances, which don't precisely fit the Western measures of excellence typically required in nearby and worldwide showbiz.
The young men, including Arizala, have ridden on the hate to become famous. 
As per an ABS-CBN meet, in spite of online hurtful comment, including death threats, the young men have stayed sure about their looks and capacities.
